For Jeanette Vertentes, painting isn’t just a career—it’s a way of life. After years of designing home furnishings and licensing art for major retailers, she turned fully to fine art, opening her Watch Hill gallery in 2020. Her richly textured paintings, inspired by her surroundings and life experiences, are filled with movement, light, and optimism. A two-time cancer survivor, Jeanette continues to create daily, painting as both a practice of gratitude and a gift to others.
